All You Need to Know About Nungnung Waterfall in Bali
Hey, if you are only talking about sunset at Kuta, beach clubs at Seminyak, or those chic cafes in Canggu after holidaying in Bali, I'm pretty sure that you don't know better about the island. Bali is more than those commonplaces, and you can totally explore more beautiful hidden gems like chasing waterfalls in Bali. In this post, I'm going to share with you a must-visit waterfall in Bali called Nungnung fall.
How to Get to Nungnung Waterfall
Exploring Nungnung Waterfall
You can park your vehicle in the area provided by local. You also need to pay the entrance fee which only about IDR 20,000 per person. The locals here use it to develop the site like building restrooms, maintaining the stairs, and renovating the gazebos. Now you are ready to go downhill to the fall, and you have to take stairs which around 500, that's a lot!
It takes around 15 - 30 minutes to walk down the stairs to reach the Nungnung waterfall. Sweaty! Worry less, you'll find some gazebos to take some rest. Those who don't always have leg days at the gym probably will complain, but let me tell you that's worth a view down there! Here are some photos I took:
In fact, Nungnung is one of the biggest and tallest waterfalls on the island which why it is an absolute reason why you should visit this place. You can also dip in the natural pool, but careful as the water flow is strong enough. Another thing you should know is there will be no signal down there, even when you are using the strongest cellular provider. So it's a good place for your to detox and just enjoy your precious time.
Overall, I really like this fall besides Sekumpul Waterfall and Tegenungan Waterfall. This jaw-dropping destination should be on your bucket list if you see yourself as an adventurous person. The hike, the fall, and the fresh air down there are totally worth visiting. I'd love to go back down there again one day!
